Professional Statement

With over two decades of experiences and higher level education in the science and art of understanding human development, learning, and healing, I believe that mental health professionals have a unique ethical obligation to stay educated, and critical about, the latest research in the human sciences, as well as an ability to integrate and adapt that knowledge to the unique, personalized stories that clients bring with them. In our sessions together, I will draw on narrative and systems theory to give practical tools and reflective insight while we discover who you are, now.

As a mental health professional, my work  extends out of the therapy room with individual clients. I believe in the power of connection and community to create systems of hope and positive change. Towards that goal, I am honored to be on the board of the San Gabriel Valley California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (SGV-CAMFT). I am also an active member of other local mental health organizations, including the Glendale Area for Mental Health Professionals Association (GAMPHA), Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), and the ADHD Coaching Organization (ACO).
